Meandering River

Say Hello to the Kaveri river. 760km in length, the Kaveri originates at the Tala Kaveri and then flows east across the Deccan Plateau, finally discharging into the Bay of Bengal.

The Kaveri is a source of drinking water and irrigation for millions of families. Life would not be without this river.
This particular shot was taken at 7am about 50km downstream from the Kaveri’s point of origin. A cool morning presented the river with the mist curling over it. It seemed like the river was waking up from its slumber.

Location: A 2 minute walk from the absolutely fabulous Orange County Resorts.
